This vertical is a freestanding high performance 80 meter antenna that is 67 foot in height. It can be used in a 4 square or as a stand alone single element.This heavy duty vertical is for the Ham who demands the very best. Full size large diameter element ensures the widest bandwidth and strength to handle toughest environments not found in other designs. No lossy traps ,Top loading or base matching here just raw performance. Massive base uses 1/2 inch extruded aluminum plate tig welded and CNC machined to exact tolerences.The base incorporates 4 side rails welded to the plates to form our superduty foldover.The base tube is 6 inch diameter 1/4 wall aluminum. The big 5 inch diameter insulator with exceptional electrical properties is responsible for this vertical's huge power handling capabilities.The vertical element starts out at 4 inch at the bottom and tapers to 3/8 inch at the top.
